Collection filtering, faceted search, and i18n-aware search with optional Pagefind integration
Enhance the existing client-side search beyond basic JSON index filtering. Pagefind has raised the bar for SSG search.
Improvements
- Collection filtering: filter results by collection type (posts, docs, pages)
- Tag faceting: narrow results by tag
- i18n-aware search: search within the active language only
- Pagefind integration: optional Pagefind as an alternative to the built-in JSON search for sites that need full-text indexing, fuzzy matching, and sub-100ms results on large sites
- Search analytics: track popular queries (privacy-preserving, client-side only)
